Self indulgent Riders, I swear! So all kidding aside, racing is Zach’s true passion. He walks, talks and breathes racing every day of the week! Most people don’t realize how much of an athlete true motocross riders are. They think riding around on a dirt bike is easy or not a sport at all! The truth is there isn’t a more stringent sport. Motocross demands many hours of training, riding and conditioning per week. And that is besides the several hours of “seat time” required to keep a rider sharp! This all, of course, if you want to be a “front runner”, but obviously there is no shame in racing occasionally to compare your ability to the next guy. In fact, it is the reason the sport has grown so large in recent years. There’s no reason not to claim “bragging rights” on you buddies, even if you can’t run up front! Finish ahead of your buddies and you get a little show off time! That is until next weekend anyway.
