We thought we would dedicate a page to some Kawasaki history and give our visitors a place to send in a photo of there ride. It is surprising to see a company with a history of building trains, boats, and airplanes become one of the top brands of motorcycles available today. Kawasaki got there start in 1949 building motorcycle engines and didn’t start producing complete units until the early 50’s. They did this after acquiring Meguro, the oldest motorcycle company in Japan. The first motocross bike, called the B8M, rolled off the assembly line in 1963. This bike dominated most of the motocross races in Japan and led into what is now the KX series with its familiar green plastic.
